He has a decent vocab, but math has been a struggle, too. He does know his facts, but he is stuck on learning subtraction and addition with borrowing & carrying. He is in speech for articulation and is making progress. His penmanship is awful and he writes backwards alot. I don't think he uses filler words, but I will pay more attention and see if he does.
Thanks for sharing @ your Ds! Very encouraging! I will continue with SWR and reading practice. I know what you mean @ VT, but I am going to have him tested. I figure it can't hurt.
One thing that I thought of which isn't really related is he rocks alot. Whe he is doing something hard, like reading, he will rock back and forth?
