I just want to add, although Kathy and Claire and other on this board have had good experiences with vision therapy, it is not necessary widely accepted as treatment for reading difficulties.
I agree that a vision exam can't hurt, but be careful in what you invest (emotionally and financially) and what you expect from any vision treatment you seek.
