Aspies tend to be very very rigid. I will let the moms with more experience answer but but from what I know kids on the spectrum are very rigid and also have sensory issues.
Have you ever had her treated by an Occupational Therapist for Sensory processing disorder? I would guess that not riding her horses as much is having a bad effect on her whole system. Riding, swimming and gymnastics are all very good sports for kids with sensory needs (nearly all kids on the spectrum have sensory issues). Riding was probably meeting a lot of her sensory needs. So now life is changing and she has lost interest in something that was calming for her. I would consider finding a way for her to ride or swim consistently throughout this change.
My dd has Sensory Processing Disorder so this is the thing I know the most about. hth.
