I have instituted a schedule for my kids this week. Basically, they have a certain amount of time to get their work done, or it becomes homework. In some ways it is working beautifully. DD loves it and we are getting so much done.
My Aspie DS is fighting me every step of the way, though. We've done this type of schedule before, and I know it's good for him. But getting him used to it is about to kill us both.
He is constantly whining and complaining and my patience is gone. I'm sticking with it, though. I'm holding out the hope that next week will be better. It's got to be.
