There have been lots of studies of spelling programs, and the traditional memorize-a-list doesn't work. It's not your daughter or her speed--it's the approach to spelling. Toss out the program entirely and just generate a spelling list from her work! Beware of assigning MORE work instead of more CHALLENGING work. Quantity won't satisfy her the way challenge will. And if Prima Latina is so easy she whips through it, there's always Wheelock's. *g*
