I have 3/4ths of a mechanical engineering and a physics degree, and I was the student outside of whose dorm room everyone lined up when they had a bad assignment--and I LOVE it. Each book is meant to last 1 semester, so the entire sequence of Pre-Level I (not finished), Level I, and Level II (not finished) would theoretically only take up half the primary science sequence, which is good because it does need to be supplemented with typical low-level elementary work (like basic ecology, detailed focuses on different types of living things, etc., etc.).
