but that she does have definite interests that she can only defer for so long. In addition, she has both the gifted and creative emotionality which makes her appear to be immature. This is topped by the fact that she chooses to be with older children so naturally she is less mature than they are.

It is hard for me to watch her navigate the perils of friendships as I went through similar. In the end I came out the other end highly individualistic and very selective about friendships.
