I took the SAT in 9th grade. I knew many of the 11th/12th graders taking the test and it was awkward for me to explain what I was doing in there (and for me to smile and nod non-comittally when they told me not to worry if I didn't do well because I couldn't be expected to do well). I am trying to decide if my 7th grader should take it this year through the talent search, and that's one of my concerns. Although at least she won't know any of the 9th-12th graders unless there are kids from church (very small church so not likely) or other homeschooled kids.
