One of the boys at our church (he's special-- meaning he's the smartest kid in his class and is sure to tell the world about it) has been giving my two older boys a really hard time. He has consistantly called them babies and stupid and other not so pleasant names. When I have spoken to the mom and dad about it their solution was to reinforce there sons behavior. It went something like this... I know you didn't mean to hurt J and M's feelings but they are really sinsitive about that and you shouldn't call them babies even if it is true.
So I was wondering... is it still illegal to slap someone elses kids? How about their parents?
His newest slam was to tell my oldest son he was being homeschooled because his mommy didn't think he was smart enough for "real" school.
Fortunately I was able to assure him that he was accually too smart for Kindergarted. He doesn't know any other kindergarteners who can read picutre books much less novels.
So please restore my faith in smart kids. Tell me that all smart kids don't end up like this smartest kid in the brat sqaud. Too big and cocky for his own briches. Please tell me my son is not headed down the I'm smarter then you road.
