I don't believe that CTY *itself* provides scholarships, but good scores are good tickets to all kinds of programs and scholarships that you might not otherwise even know are out there. I took the SAT through them in junior high, and was actively recruited to apply to several full scholarships, at least one to any school of my choice and several others to specific institutions. I still had to *apply*, of course -- my scores alone were not guarantees of scholarships -- but the CTY scores opened doors I wouldn't otherwise have known existed. As well, to take the test is a relatively cheap and certainly fast way to build an externally validated paper trail of excellence, which is particularly important for homeschoolers, I believe.
