We did Singapore science last year (which went well) and Kingfisher (also fine). This year we are doing Conceptual Physics (occasional problems but not bad overall) and American Pagent. The one problem with American Pagent is that some places contain more details about horrific things than my son wants to live with in his head. I told him to skim any bits like that, which he says he's done, for example, details about American slavery.
