My older one read History of US happily at age 13, but my younger one hated the patronizing tone. I switched him to American Paegent Pagent? Don't know the spelling. It is like a beauty blank. Anyway, I'm just having him read it, not do any of the questions. He's liking it very well. My older one, at 15, found Human Odyssey too young but likes Spielvogel's Western History. This was after he had read Kingfisher.
