Reya or others who suggested Singapore for a bright math student....

I have a few more questions about this program and was hoping I could get some more help.

First of all, how easy would it be for us to jump into this program if we've been using BJU? I see they have placement test so I will give my son that but I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on how the transition will be.

Secondly, when I look at the Singapore website I see a Primary Math 3rd ed, a Primary Math US ed., and a Primary Math Standards ed. Which one do I want?

Finally, and probably my biggest concern... How do students in this program do with testing? We have a couple of options in our state and testing is the option we have chosen in the past. This is also one of the reason I shied away from Singapore in the first place. I have always heard they have a very different scope and sequence from traditional school and that worried me because of the need to test and the possibilty that someday our dc may have to go back to public school. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks!
