Since it's mastery and not spiral, accelerating is easy! It is also a VERY good program with a VERY strong conceptual basis.
You should not have to do hardly any "memorization" of addition and subtraction. Instead, the child should just be able to see the answer. Multiplication is, of course, different--you have to do some memorization there. But there should be no memorization for division after multiplication facts are down.
In many countries, concept mastery and drill are separated. (In Singapore Math, too, of course.) I strongly prefer this method.
