than APD; APD is a particular type of processing issue that has to do with how and whether the brain can hear (as opposed to the ears hearing). If you're still concerned, I think you should look into processing issues more generally.
To be honest, though, I think that because processing scores are frequently lower than the other scores for gifted kids the scores may not in fact be telling you anything other than that your child is like all those other gifted kids who don't have high processing scores.
