Ds and I have discussed what he would like to do. He said he wants to learn to "write better". When I asked him what he meant by that, he wasn't really sure. All he could say is that he wanted to write more like the things that he reads.
Pretty tall order and I am not sure how to go about teaching those kind of writing skills. But from our conversation I think he is wanting something along the lines of a creative writing program. And knowing the way my ds learns.... along the lines of a step-by-step program.
So is there a program for creative writing out there that's step-by-step, not too restrictive on topics and can be done by a child who can write five to seven paragraphs in one sitting?
