I don't regret much of anything since he was ready for algebra about the end of the fourth grade. I wish I had known more about bar diagrams and instead of intensive practice I would have spent much more time instead on the word problem book.
A lot of people talked about "hitting the wall" but it didn't happen. I don't think it ever would have happened had we stayed in the Singapore program. Keep on keepin' on. There are things that I'm tweaking here and there with the younger siblings but it's not a big deal.
