My 9-year-old son took the semester final for his online math class this morning and earned his 'A.' (He started the class over the summer.)
This one is really good at math (he's taking an 8th grade class and doing the advanced track), but tends to mess up because he's impatient and/or doesn't pay attention to details. He has been teetering on the brink of that 'A' for most of the segement and desperately wanted to hang onto it. So, we spent almost half of our school day yesterday reviewing for the exam.
It was worth it, though, since he got 98% on the final and an 'A' for the semester.
He's rather proud of himself! I'm just glad it's over and turned out well.
