You won't need to make a lot of adaptations. Your dog will do most of the adapting himself. Dogs are amazing animals, and they learn to compensate for a handicap such as deafness much better than humans do. They learn to watch you and your other pets for visual clues, and outside observers might not even realize the dog is deaf.
The one problem is safety. They can't hear cars coming, for example. They can't hear you calling them if you need to get their attention from a distance. You just need to be sure they aren't allowed to get into situations were not being able to hear could be a danger.
