I've never bought a curtain rod!
the words are not defined! Two way, one way, valence rod, pocked curtain, tranverse rod...
I'm looking for a rod that has an outer track one puts a pleated curtain into little hooks via metal hooks stuck in the material, that lives on one side of the glass sliding door and one pulls a stick or an anchored cord to get it to move the whole way across AND an inner rod that can carry a sheer curtain, pleated or "pocketed", I think.
I wandered through the kirsch website and no really good pics of what I'd be getting to know if it is right. Home Despot and Lowe's have little in the "drawn" curtain department...lots of fancy poles you pull the curtain across.
Would those, with say large rings, be easy enough to pull across the whole length of a sliding glass door? 70+ inches.
