Do any of you have a deaf dog? sm

We are in the process of adopting one. We are meeting him tomorrow. He sounds perfect, except for the deafness. Just wondering what it is like to have a deaf dog in your home? What kinds of adaptations have you had to make outside of handsignals and using flashlights at night. We are both excited and nervous.
