I had this a couple of months ago and just could not function because of the headache associated with the head congestion. I went to the pharmacy specifically for Robitussin Severe Congestion pills, but they were out. So I asked the pharmacist and she recommended the Mucinex. It was expensive ($20), but she told me it would work. I went home, took it with Motrin and about 10 mintues later I had relief. Even if that was the *only* time I got relief (which it wasn't), it would have been worth that $20. The result was amazing. Give it a try, and also make sure to drink lots of water!
