Actually, I hadn't wanted children at all. Ds1 came along and we thought, "well that was good, but that's it."
I was actually pretty surprised (not in a good way) to learn about ds2. I didn't want to tell anyone I felt that way though.
I love them both, but I didn't have the "urge" to reproduce, and I still never have. I know I'm a good, loving, "rockin' Mom," as my boys say.
You aren't the only one. I have several friends who had one kid and never felt even the slightest urge for more. They're great moms and I'd bet you are, too. :-)
