Well she went and is currently in Florida on her 9th day.
To refresh memories, my post was about should I let her go to visit her Aunt in Florida when she has never been away from home before. Dh thought it was okay and I thought it was too long for the first time away.
Ends up she had to go for 12 days! Last night was her 8th day and she called crying due to being homesick. We consoled her as best we could, and I guess during the night she woke up crying again. She is not a cry baby, but is very homesick. Please pray she'll be comforted. I think she'll be okay in the long run, but for now it is a hard time for her and for me:(
