which we have, a dd (9). We're very content with an only child, but I always felt that there was somethign wrong with me that I never felt that "urge" again. Really....I tried to feel it, but nothing. Dd was planned and wanted and is loved and cherished, but we never wanted another child.
It bothers me sometimes; like I"m a terrible mother or something, but of course I"m an idiot for thinking that.
Sigh. Sorry I'm venting on your thread.....hope you find peace.
