My ds will be 10 soon, he has a weekly assignment sheet (with days of week on top/subject down the side) that he highlights as he does it. He used to have a choice of what order things were done, but last year I had to assign the times when he needed me (due to the two year old). I'm not sure how we'll handle it this year. He'll still have a weekly sheet and I'm going to try to allow him to choose the order.
We also are trying something new this year, we are having a week one and week two schedule. Week one will include: logic, grammar, spanish; week two will have Calculadders, megawords, and latin. Of course both weeks will have the basics also. I'm not sure how this will work, but I'm hoping it's better than dividing the subjects throughout the week.
