For those of you who have older children do you give them written assignments for each day or weekly?(m)

Or do they come to you for each assignment? I would like my daughter to have a sort of checklist but am trying to decide the most efficient way to get it to her. I think she would feel more accountable if she had something to check off for each task. She is 10.5 and is wanting to become more independent.

• I always assigned weekly to give my ds the ability to work ahead and be flexible. As he got older if he needed more time on a project I might give him a due date 2 weeks out. I just used regular notebook paper -- nothing fancy. nt - Mandamom 19:10 Jul 25 (0)
