if she had gone to school, she would have been the class president, the homecoming queen, the head cheerleader, dated the captain of the football team...and not only would she not have learned a thing, I'd have lost her spiritually.
The socialization that occurs in the family God gave your dd is enough. There's a reason for each person in your family to be there.
You did ask our opinion, and this is mine: the only reason you have shared for sending your dc to government school is that you all need socializing. That is not enough. You can get more than enough (1) in your own family, and (2) from outside activities that are age integrated and well supervised by adults, such as church, 4-H, dance or music classes, etc.
You did *NOT* say that your dd is feeling lonely, only that *you* think she is. I'm thinking it's *your* problem, not hers.
