We are planning to visit the reenactment of the first Confederate victory as a family: dh, 9 yo dd, 2 yo dd and myself.
We are a biracial, multicultural, multilingual, multinational family. My (possibly not politically correct) question is... What type of crowd are we likely to encounter at such an event? Will we be made to feel welcome or not? I would like this to be a happy and stress free experience.
I realize this may be completely paranoid of my part, but I can't help thinking attending might not be the best idea after all...
I'd appreciate your honest opinion. Thank you.
