First of all, we spent all morning/early afternoon driving around in the heat looking at houses. Not my idea of fun. After we got home, I was supposed to go to my doctor appointment which I have already rescheduled once. I back out of my drive way and my transmission fails. I can't back up, I can't go forward I can't even put the car in park. I live at the top of a pretty steap hill so I coasted the car to the bottom and parked it (with emergency break on). Hike back up the hill (I am not in shape, it is at least 95 degrees out and did I mention the hill was steap and long!) The when I get to my driveway it is also long and has at least a 10% grade. Then when you get to the top of the driveway there is a long steap set of stairs to the house (all of this has something to do with why we are looking for a different house) By the time I get inside I am having serious hot flashes, I can barely breathe and I feel like I am going to throw up and then pass out. This car is only two years old and only has 20,000 miles on it. And it is the only one we have right now because of my ds stealing the other one. Luckily it is still under warranty so they came and towed it and gave us a rental. But the rental only holds four people so the entire family can not go anywhere together until we get the van back.
