The guy we've been negotiating with for...I don't know...two days? three? he finally agreed to our offer. Remember I said I thought we were offering too much for the condition it's in?

But...it's all stuff we can fix, and the mtg will be the same as the house we're in now. In fact, a lot will be the same as the house we're in now. The square footage, the year it was built, utility in the garage, the bathrooms. Well, the "new" one has one AND A HALF. But there are times, when boy, an extra half bath would be nice, lol.

We've been discussing/praying for the last hour and a half, and finally decided to withdraw our offer on the nicer house. We both had foreboding feelings about it, like there was more wrong with it than we can see. (I SURE hope we're right about that now!)

On the other hand, maybe it will foreclose, & we can buy it later for cheaper.

This mtg means I *can* work but don't *have* to. There's nowhere but the dining room to hs, but that's pretty much how our current house is, and it has been fine.

I'm sorry I forgot to be grateful for a dh who supports hs so much & for a financial situation that allows us to do so. I really *am* grateful--I've just been feeling so guilty through this whole ordeal. Like it's my fault--that we don't have more in savings, etc. To some extent, it is--there are things I need to work at doing better. Mostly, I just learned guilt really well growing up. And I mean REALLY well.

Anyway, guilt and fear? Yuck. I did tell dh what you guys said last night--hug him, support him, thank him, etc. He loves you guys, too.
