We tore our bed apart and bug bombed the room. I was the only one bitten but would have a huge painful spot about 3in. around, I got to the point if I possibly felt the least little thing I started searching. We only found about 5 or 6 but I'm sure there were more. We eventually found out after the reinfestation about two years later that they are commonly carried by BATS! We had bats in our attic and had to bomb the whole house and attic. We had baby bats crawling out the overhang! My husband had to have rabies shots because they got in our laundry room and was in close contact with them! We bomb the house because we had done reseach and then found a bug in our room again on the end where the bats were roosted! My husband doesn't remember the specific chemicals to look for in pesticides to kill them but he said to google it. So far we have been bug free!!!
