said that bedbugs are EVERYWHERE now - at really upscale hotels, etc. He said he always checks under the sheets (on the mattress) whenever he stays at any hotel.

I'll ask dh if he remembers what the man said to do for them (I don't, sorry); I do recall that bedbugs are the reason for the modern pest control industry.

(OK, that was NO help at all, but I'm so sorry for your situation!)
