A few weeks ago, I started seeing small black spots on the sheets on our bed. Not on the kids beds but ours.
Last week we saw a small bug on the bed and when I picked it up with a tissue it was full of blood. This morning we saw another one.
We have never had one single bite though which is weird.
This morning I started looking them up online. Then we started tearing our bed apart...linens, mattress, box springs. We found about 6 of them.
All we have done today is vacuum, vacuum, vacuum. I took everything out of the night stands and vacuumed. This has gone on for hours.
I put the 6 in a jar and dh took them to the pest control company. The guy said they were bedbugs.
We do not want to put insecticide all over our mattress, box springs etc.
Anyone have any luck getting rid of these without pesticide?????
I don't think we have an infestation because neither of us have ever been bit. Our little dog sleeps with us so maybe they are biting him.
I am clueless as to how we got them. We have not stayed in a motel since last year so that can't be it.
DD did get a couple shirts at a resale shop so maybe that is where they came from but there is none around her mattress or bed. She has one friend sleep over but still it's in her room and she has none in her room.
Today has been crazy. All we have done is look for more in our room.
NOw we have the box springs turned over on a white sheet and when it gets dark we're going to go in and flip them over and see if we find some. ugh
We need your help. lol
