I am very annoyed with my latest book on tape....the author swallows weird! :-)....

I just started listening to Lord of the Flies on tape and it is read by the author. I find him so distracting. He has a weird swallow and his voice is very monotone. It is really bugging me! :-) I just had to vent. The last two I listened to were fabulous readers (Grapes of Wrath and To Kill a Mockingbird).
