I want my ds's time supervised, and from what I've seen of some of his friends' parents, they are unwilling to do that. It's not so much the games (which vary from house to house), but even so, some parents have flat out different values and don't care what their kids play.

If he's playing with friends, I want him PLAYING with friends, not stuck in front of something electronic. My rule is usually NO video, tv, computer, etc. And believe me, I have a hard enough time getting one of my ds's friends' parents complying with that.
