Property values here are insane and I say that as a licensed psychologist!
Seriously though, prices have gone up and up dramatically and so have assessments, of course. Ours jumped 3 fold and we were shocked to say the least. We found we were being comp'ed against a property in the city even though we are a good 20 minutes outside. We got a realtor to give us comps of properties in our area, went in and they reverted our assessment to the previous year's which was right in line with the comps we gave them.
