Seems to work around here.
I kwym, and I have the same goal.
And you know, we have an x-box, and even though I say, "OK boys, but only for an hour" they are happy as pigs in mud even though I lay down that law. And they eat a LOT.
Also, if I may be so bold, I think there are a lot, a LOT of 11-14 yo's that would just DIE to have a safe place to do Legos and other "little kid" stuff that they can't do elsewhere and not be made fun of. So at least, leave the Legos out.
And leave the food out.
