Not so much in the gift department, but rather for ways we might celebrate this birthday. She *thinks* she wants a big, big gathering that will include many of her friends, of all ages. But, on the other hand, she wants something intimate, with just her closest buds. Her day is Augst 4, so it's always a bit tricky because people tend to be out of town. The other stumbling block is that we're now in a different location that doesn't lend itself so well to the big gathering where we used to have a big pool, a place for a bonfire, room to run. No more.
What could we do that might be special but not too expensive?
