my dh is always looking for ways to do things cheaply...he loves a good deal and is very frugal. So we shopped for several months, and bought an older class c motorhome. We decided to buy in the fall, after the summer vacation months, hoping to find a motivated seller. We got a great deal on a great motorhome. We then sold it in the spring for 2000.00 more than we paid, which essentially paid for our trip. The kids and I cried when it went down the road. However, we intend to do it again.
I did not school every subject, we did the states, history, some math, grammar, and lots of reading.
