Well, my dh, who works at a big box company that specializes in this, says that top sellers are: Bubble crates, storage units, twin XL sheets, storage footlockers, garbage cans, and cheap dishes and utensils. But he said the number one thing is that apparently dorm rooms have twin XL beds. So the most important thing is finding twin XL sheets.
He said if you have a Linens -N- Things near you, they will give you a print out at the door if you ask, of a list of college needs. HTH!!
