I recently read the book and followed all of her diet suggestions. It works! Really, it does.
I had to give up caffeine to be on the diet and I hate to even call it a diet, it's more of an eating habit change. I noticed right away that the "I must nap or I will die" feeling went away as did my carb cravings. In fact, I was never hungry because I was always eating.
You mentioned supplements. Well she addresses that, too.
I highly reccomend you read it for yourself.

p.s. I lost five pounds in two weeks and was able to fit back into my clothes. My mother just did it and she lost 9 pounds.
