1st called to get the police to come and arrest her sister's for not allowing her to watch what she wanted on tv. (from in-laws house)
2nd called to report her brother hitting her
I blame those on preschool. Each occurred right after studying 911.
I called multiple times myself. My mil phone # contains the numbers 911. For some reason, the phone only picked up those number occasionally when dialed. Reaching the wrong number, I (very embarrassed) tried to explain that I hadn't meant to call. The police showed up within a couple of minutes at the door. Dh answered and they insisted on seeing me to make sure everything was alright. They wouldn't take dh's word for it. Made us feel pretty good about the local police for that moment. It was really well handled.
They have to come out to make sure that the person who called isn't being forced to say that everything is alright when it really isn't. In the case of dc1, they just called us back laughing and told us that dc had called and asked for siblings to be arrested.
