We had just moved in to that house and he was home alone for the weekend (he was 18). He was so worried, he called 911 and the fire dept came out, shut off the alarm, told him not to take such hot showers and left. LOL

• On my dh's 30th b-day (ages ago...) I took a cake with 40 candles to his office. It set off the smoke alarm, which charged the fire system with water, flooded an area of the first floor, and caused over $1000 worth of damages. Never again.
