When we got little ds a train set that is the first thing she said........do not glue it down.
As they get older, alot of fun comes with constructing new tracks. Actually, alot of learning too.
So, our little ds got one when he was almost four. At first, it was tempting. But, that was mainly because the rest of us spent a long time putting together an awesome layout and then he would decide to redo it within minutes.
Now at almost five, he really loves working with his sister to build something neat and keep it until he accidently knocks it down.
They built an incredible dinosaur layout a couple weeks ago which he would not have done in the beginning.
I'm glad we didn't glue or nail down the tracks.
