When I owned my resale shop I had some "boutique" lines (www.babybeanwear.com, for example). I sold embellished overalls for babies and toddlers. They sold very well.
In the DFW area, if you know how to market them, you can get $75 per pair, but I would start around $50-60 to get established.
The woman who bought my resale shop is reopening in Allen next month, but she is really making it more upscale than I did, with more boutique lines and a girls' tearoom. You should check it out in January - Peek-A-Boutique. I bet she would be interested in doing a consignment type deal with you.
Also try Cute as a Button Kids in Plano, and Cutie Patootie Kids in Frisco.
For babies and toddlers you want to use a lot of toile and chenille. Also use brown with pink or blue, as they are very hot combos right now.
I can't tell you much about older kids, as my business only went up to size 8.
Hope this helps!
