I've heard that you should keep the segments the same size. How far are you going?

I found we needed alot of time for the Greeks and Romans. But I still kept the divisions even.
As far as numbering, I started mine at "Before 5000," and put undated, Biblical events in order in that segment. (I mean, like Creation and Noah, where the dates are kinda disputed.)
