I didn't read this first when I answered your other post, about whether the TM is necessary. You should be able to get one used for pretty cheap (around $10-$15).
Your idea of doing the chapter reviews is good, too. In this case, I probably would get the next grade level up student activity reviews (lots of overlap, and will give her time to breathe). As it is, you can't use the whole book in a year (the reviews) anyway.
How sweet that your dd picked it! That counts for something.
