Hi,
I don't usually frequent this board, but frequent two other WTM boards. Someone suggested I try asking my latest question here. I'm looking for a basic, simple introduction to just essay writing. One book I've looked at in the Rainbow catalogue is "Quick Reference to Essay Writing." Has anyone used this? I need something that teaches the basics without assigning specific essay topics as my dd has Asperger's and it would be far better in our case if she could choose her own topics. Her her language arts skills level out to about seventh grade at the moment overall. She does better if each facet of language arts is separated into it's own subject because it is less overwhelming.
