I'm trying to find ways to save money, LOL. My son went through ISLAS's literature class called Western Civilization to Dante and used the Legacy of Liberty curriculum this past year and he really learned a lot. I'm very happy but yet, he has two more years of high school left and also I have three more boys to put through school and I doubt that I can afford ISLAS again. I'm quite interested in Veritas' Omnibus. How does it compare to Western Civilization to Dante and Legacy of Liberty? Is Omnibus laid out in a similar style to Legacy of Liberty with good discussion questions and assignments? Does its literature potion go as in depth as ISLAS' literature classes? And is Omnibus similar in its religious and government philosophy as Legacy of Liberty? I'm not Reconstructionist or Calvinistic but I do agree with some of the tenets of Calvin. I lean toward the providential theory of history but don't believe America is the new Israel and I found Legacy of Liberty to be a pretty good fit for us. How about Omnibus? I would really appreciate any thoughts or info. on this. Thanks.
